Working visit by the IsDB to the PAGGW

Prof. Abdoulaye DIA, Executive Secretary of the Pan-African Agency of the Great Green Wall (PAGGW), Mr. Hassan Abdelgadir Hilal, Minister in charge of the Environment of the Republic of Sudan, and Mr. Amedi Camara, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, carried out a working visit to the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) from 15 to 19 November 2014.
The working visit to the IsDB, based in Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), is part of the financial resource mobilization activities carried out by the PAGGW for the implementation of the important African Great Green Wall Project.
During the visit, the delegation held working sessions with the Experts and Senior Officials of the IsDB.
The IsDB demonstrated its commitment to supporting the implementation of the Great Green Wall, and further consultations are planned in the very near future.
